All our walks begin with an introduction to the llamas and instruction on the correct way to handle and lead them. The walks are at a gentle “llama pace” and will be accompanied, so that we can guide you through the beautiful French countryside and woodland, passing by glorious fields of sunflowers in the summer months.

Our walks are designed so that there is something to suit everybody, although they can also be tailor-made to suit special individual requirements. For a truly unforgettable experience and a great way to unwind, choose from one of our llama walks listed below:

MORNING COFFEE WALK ( 10.00 am ) or AFTERNOON TEA WALK ( 3.00 pm )

These walks take approximately two hours, including a stop for coffee and croissants or tea and home made cakes.
Cost: €25 per person (1 llama each)
           €20 per person (1 llama/2 people)

FAMILY BASIC WALK

Morning or afternoon, this walk takes about an hour and a half.
Cost: €40 per family (2 Adults and 2 Children)
          €10 for each additional adult
          €5 for each additional child

PICNIC WALK

An all day walk with stops to admire the scenery and enjoy home made cakes and coffee and one of our delicious freshly prepared picnic lunches.
Cost: €50 per person (1 llama each)
           €40 per person (1 llama/2 people)

SUMMER EVENING STROLL

Enjoy the long summer evenings with a gentle stroll along beautiful country paths, followed by a cold buffet supper back at the farmhouse.

Cost: €35 per person (1 llama each)
           €30 per person (1 llama/2 people)

CELEBRATION WALK

For that special occasion – enjoy an all-day trek with picnic and champagne or an evening stroll, followed by a celebratory meal at the farmhouse - a fantastic anniversary or birthday gift. Contact us direct to arrange your special day!

   

LLAMA EXPERIENCE

For family groups with younger children, we offer an opportunity to meet the llamas at La Maison Neuve (as well as our sheep, ducks and chickens!). Children will be able to pet and feed the llamas and help lead them around the paddock. The experience (lasting about an hour) will provide plenty of photo opportunities and time to learn a little about these gentle and fascinating animals. The children (and adults) will love them!!

Cost: €20 per family (2 Adults and 2 Children)
           € 4 for each additional child/adult

Walks can also be tailor-made for schools, youth groups, birthday parties, special celebrations or “ Trek and Stay ” weekends. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Please note:

•  All children less than 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
•  The minimum age for children to lead a llama is 10 years old and some walks may not be suitable for younger children.
•  The health and safety of both visitors and lamas will always be our priority. We therefore reserve the right to change the walk on the day if necessary and will not allow you to continue on the walk if you put yourself, the llamas or others at risk.
•  Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
